Poor countries can often lead to the suffering of the people living in it due to its poor economy and unstability. Many curable diseases become a reason for the death of the people as they are unable to afford medical care. I do believe that drugs should be available at reduced prices in these countries.
Medical care and health related issues have become increasingly expensive, even in a developed and rich country. Mostly, African countries like South Sudan and Somalia are in very poor conditions and can get extreme benefit from the reduction in the price of medicine. The drug companies can start campaigns, provide schemes or create some alternative way to provide cheaper medicines to the people. The government can also play a vital role in it by acting as a bridge which can help the people. The drug companies and the government can make an alliance and work for the welfare of the people of its country. The government can fund these companies for research so they can make cheaper products in the future.
Most of the companies keep high prices due to their selfish reasons which further collapses the economy of the country. It can all be improved with a better government. An excellent government work for the welfare of the people of the country and do everything for their betterment.
Empathy and sensitivity towards the people of a country can cause the people to be helpful. Companies working for the people can also benefit from it low prices by increasing in the number of people buying their products. It can be beneficial in both ways.
