Child’s development is one of the key factor that shapes the personality of the child. Among multiple factors some of the most important factors in the child’s development are the role of parents, and the impact of friends and television. I think the role of parents are the most significant as compared to the television and friends that later on becomes the part of life of a child.

When a child enters into this world, parents are the only people whom he identifies as the only help, especially the mothers. Around two to three years, children spend most of the time with his parents and at this point, child’s development process begins. The science has also come to this conclusion that the early years of the childhood is the period where child learns fast, and also at a rapid pace.

As the child grows further, new things add into his life such as friends and television. After reaching to this stage, the child begins to spend most of his time with friends and television unlike early childhood. The television and friends begin to influence his decisions and also make him aware of the things which he did not know earlier. At this point, child begins to learn positive and negative things which further plays a role in his development.

It is inevitable to eliminate the role of either of the things from the child’s life but what could be done is to manage the impact of things that the child will perceive in the future. If the parents play a constructive role in the early years of child, the child will have a solid foundation and will able to differentiate the right and wrong path in the future.
