What is GMAT?
The GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test, which is a standardized exam conducted around the globe to process admission in the management field. We have the best faculty for GMAT Preparation in Karachi. GMAT test measures the following skills:
- Basic Verbal skills
- Mathematical skills
- Analytical writing skills
This test is not designed to measure the following things:
- Knowledge of business
- Job skills
- The specific content in undergraduate or first university coursework
- Subjective qualities such as motivation, creativity, and interpersonal skills
- Abilities in any other specific subject area.
Analytical Writing Assessment
The GMAT starts with the Analytical Writing Assessment in which you have to analyze an argument in 30 minutes.
Integrated Reasoning
Based on four question types:
- Analyze and synthesize data
- Comprise of Graphics Interpretation
- Table Analysis
- Multi-Source Reasoning
Candidates have to attempt 12 questions in 30 minutes.
Quantitative Section
In this section 37 multiple-choice questions of two question types-Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving. Candidates are allowed maximum 75 minutes to complete this full section.
Verbal Section
There are 41 multiple –choice questions:
- Reading Comprehension
- Critical Reasoning
- Sentence Correction.
Candidates are allowed maximum 75 minutes to complete this full section.
Scoring
For analytical writing score is graded in a range of 0 – 6.
Integrated Reasoning section is scored in the range of 1 to 8.
The multiple choice sections of the GMAT (verbal and quantitative) are graded on a range of 0 – 60 points.
GMAT score in 2016 was approximately 544. However, students who manage to get an admission the top universities have an average GMAT score of around 720.
GMAT Preparation At Study Circle
On first visit candidates are assessed with diagnostic test. As per result of diagnostic test we develop study program which varies person to person. We give individual attention to every student because to get required score we need to judge weakness of every student and let him know how to cope up with this with extended practice material in order to boost up skills that required to excel.
In addition, teacher check every candidate’s report on daily bases and deal accordingly throughout his preparation and guide him in an optimal manner. Furthermore, no of lectures are given on all major topics and revised if necessary.
Usually we conduct 2 classes per week of two hours each, Normal preparation consists of 3 classes per week of two hours each,
for about 2 months.
