What Is PTE?
Very few applicants know that Australian immigration authority accepts not only IELTS but other International English proficiency tests as well, and PTE test is one of them. PTE stands for Pearson Test of English. IELTS is jointly administered by Cambridge, British Council and IDP. PTE is an American based English language test and it is equally acceptable to Australian immigration.
Point-based marking is used in this test which starts from 10-90. In IELTS, marking scheme is band-based which starts from 0 to 9 bands.
At Study Circle IEC, we offer preparatory classes for PTE. Both IELTS and PTE are English Proficiency Test.
The aspirants will find difference only of the format of two tests.
